Join Us at the Larkspur-Corte Madera July 4th Parade!

On July 4th, 350Marin members will march in the Larkspur-Corte Madera Parade to celebrate our Independence Day and past, and to declare our urgent need for a Fossil Fuel Independent future! Bring family and friends at 10:30AM to to the parade route to see the 350Marin contingent in one of Marin Counties largest July 4th Parades – or arrive earlier and march with us from Redwood High if you can! Then stay after the parade and enjoy the traditional 4th of July Festival with music, food and crafts in the Corte Madera Town Park. Remember, they start to shut down some roads for the parade around 10AM, so don’t wait too long to claim your spot!
Those who’d like to march, please come join us, subject to the parade limits on the number of people we can have in our group. Call Zhenya at (415) 381-9085 to check on space and details – leave a message if he doesn’t pick up. If you can join us marching, wear a 350Marin tee shirt or blue-colored shirt or blouse if you can. Don’t bring signs, since we’ll already have the limited number of signs permitted by parade rules – but do bring water, your walking shoes, your sense of enthusiasm and commitment to stop climate change and Big Oil’s agenda! We’ll meet in the parade staging area in the Redwood High parking lot at 9:30AM.
