SUMMARY:August 30th: Come Hear our Interns Speak on Their Experience at the 350Marin End of Summer Internship Report
DESCRIPTION: \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nOver the past three months our two summer interns\, Katherine Ritter and Lucie Martikan\, have been busy supporting 350Marin\, as well as the Fairfax Climate Action Committee and the San Anselmo Climate Action Commission. Recent projects include creating a Marin Guide to Climate Action\, researching for and drafting whitepapers on low-carbon concrete and home energy audits for town review\, attending subcommittee meetings\, revamping flyers\, participating in the Resilient Neighborhoods Program\, and tabling alongside both towns. They are excited to continue exploring their interests in the Marin Climate Movement and supporting some of the movement’s key players! \nHannah Brown will also be speaking. Hannah is a student at UCIrvine majoring in environmental science and policy. She grew up in San Anselmo and is currently interning for the Sustainability Team at the County of Marin. This summer she has been working on an Equity Analysis for an upcoming Building Electrification roadmap. \nOn August 30th come hear them speak on their work and what they’ve learned at the 350Marin End of the Summer Internship Report.
