SUMMARY:Join the Global Shoestrike for Climate\, August 29th!
DESCRIPTION:This is an invitation to participate in the Global Day of Action by putting your shoes out for Climate Justice and Climate Emergency Resolution.\n\nShoe strikes are being held worldwide organized by various Climate Groups on August 29th to raise awareness of the need for Climate Justice and to demand that elected officials at every level of government take immediate action to address the Climate Emergency and the social and economic impacts of Climate Change and the COVID-19 pandemic. These two unprecedented crises require unprecedented action to protect our citizens and our planet. The “shoe strike” is a COVID-19 safe demonstration without the need for a large in-person gathering. \nPeople interested in donating before the shoe strike can bring a pair of shoes and little signs to  813 Paxton Villa Ct\, Novato CA 94947\, or feel free and bring your shoes/signs to the Novato City Hall\, 901 Sherman Avenue Novato\, California 94945\, at the day of action. \nWhile 350Marin and Green Novato want each pair to represent a single person\, people can bring more than one pair of shoes if they are dropping off shoes for another family member or friend.   We will have a few people holding signs on the street of De Long Avenue standing far enough apart during the Climate Action.
