DESCRIPTION:A coalition of environmental groups including 350Marin and 350 Bay Area is mobilizing to be a strong presence at Thursday’s Bay Area Air Quality Management District (BAAQMD – also known as the Air District) Rules Workshop. Your support is valued\, if you can make it. The Board and staff are reviewing their rules for reducing greenhouse gases and other pollutants from stationary sources such as refineries\, cement plants\, etc. We need to discuss their plans\, and press them to take real action to reduce the pollution that affects not just the East Bay\, but Marin\, the Bay Area\, California\, and the world!
