SUMMARY:Fairfax Festival\, Parade\, Climate Coalition\, and EcoFest
DESCRIPTION:Bring the whole family\, enjoy the Fairfax Festival\, and come visit 350Marin and other environmental groups from around the county at Fairfax’s EcoFest on Saturday and Sunday\, June 9-10th.  This year\, 350Marin has organized a Climate Action Coalition section of the Fairfax Parade that will feature and fly the fabulous White Crane by artist David Solnit and signs designed by him. The Climate Action Coalition consists of 350Marin\, MCE\, Sustainable Fairfax\, Drawdown Marin\, Sierra Club Marin Group\, and Mamas on Fire. \nHear local music all afternoon on the EcoFest Stage and two other Festival stages\, eat organic food\, enjoy organic beer and wine tasting – and learn more about and support action on the environment all at the same time!  The parade starts on Saturday at 10AM\, and the Festival happens from 11AM – 6PM both days.   If you’d like to march with us in the parade\, arrive at 9-9:30 and wear white\, green or blue tee shirts for color coordination.  Email Silke at vigyano62@gmail.com for further details on parking and rendezvous point. \nRead more about the Fairfax Festival and Ecofest HERE\, on the festival Facebook page.
