Activist Greta Thunberg Nominated for Nobel Prize

On March 14th, 2019, the day before a Global Youth Strike for Climate she inspired, 16 year old climate activist Greta Thunberg from Sweden was nominated for this year’s Nobel Peace Prize. For years, the climate crisis has been her single-minded focus. She has called for people to rise up, take their power back from their failing and corrupt leaders, and insist that our society acknowledge the massive approaching climate crisis and take immediate action to address it.
