This presents an opportunity for 350Marin members and residents of Novato to encourage the City Council to switch its municipal accounts to 100% renewable energy. Currently only San Anselmo, Fairfax, and Belvedere use MCE’s Deep Green 100% renewable option. By switching to MCE Deep Green, individuals, businesses and governments can reduce greenhouse gas emissions-that’s what needs to happen everywhere to ensure a healthy planet for everyone!
People often ask how they can make a difference with climate change – encouraging local government to make the right decisions is one great way to get involved!
To show your support for Novato purchasing greener energy, attend the City Council meeting on Tuesday March 7 at 6:30pm at Novato City Hall. Council Chambers, 901 Sherman Ave. Novato
