If you might be interested in becoming more active in 350 Marin, come sit in on our Steering Committee Meeting on the evening of Tuesday, March 7th. We'll be meeting in Room 204 at the First Presbyterian Church, 72 Kensington Rd. in San Anselmo. Once at the church, get to Room 204 by following the walkway on the left side of the church building toward the building in back, then go upstairs to Room 204. On Tuesday March 7 at 6:30pm, the City of Novato will learn the results of its most recent Greenhouse Gas Emissions Inventory, receive a status report on implementation of the City’s Climate Action Plan and consider a new sustainability staff position. This presents an opportunity for 350Marin members and residents of Novato to encourage the City Council to switch its municipal accounts to 100% renewable energy. A coalition of environmental groups including 350Marin and 350 Bay Area is mobilizing to be a strong presence at Thursday’s Bay Area Air Quality Management District (BAAQMD - also known as the Air District) Rules Workshop.
