We'll be meeting in Room 204 at the First Presbyterian Church, 72 Kensington Rd. in San Anselmo. On Tuesday March 7 at 6:30pm, the City of Novato will learn the results of its most recent Greenhouse Gas Emissions Inventory, receive a status report on implementation of the City’s Climate Action Plan and consider a new sustainability staff position. This presents an opportunity for 350Marin members and residents of Novato to encourage the City Council to switch its municipal accounts to 100% renewable energy. A coalition of environmental groups including 350Marin and 350 Bay Area is mobilizing to be a strong presence at Thursday’s Bay Area Air Quality Management District (BAAQMD - also known as the Air District) Rules Workshop. FRIDAY UPDATE: If you'd like to meet-up with other 350Marin members and take the ferry to the Embarcadero and the march tomorrow (Saturday), members are meeting in front of the Larkspur ferry ticket office for the 9:30am ferry.
